Call for proposals

The 35th Annual Virginia Fund Raising Institute will provide sessions that attract a multi-level audience and will energize, educate, and empower great fundraising and nonprofit management.  Drawing more than 250 attendees, VFRI is the premiere educational event for development and nonprofit professionals in the Commonwealth.

The Program Committee invites proposals for workshop sessions.  This year’s theme is the Power of Possibility: Reimagining Philanthropy for Tomorrow.  Proposals should be forward thinking and encourage nonprofit professionals to rethink traditional approaches and embrace new opportunities.  Potential topics include: Emerging donor generations, AI and fundraising technology, professional development, corporate partnerships, new models of giving, sustainability, and self-care among others.
